2012 Chancellors Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research

Wow! I won the highest award given to an undergraduate research at UC Irvine, the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research! I received this for the work I did with Professor Bachman on Pain Buddy, a cross browser mobile application that would help children with cancer communicate with their doctors better. The application was developed for both Android and iPad, and featured a child friendly application that would transmit the data to an online server. We had focus groups and meetings to continually improve the application, and it took many, many hours to complete.
