I made this SMS interfaced application to quickly create Memes on any phone. You would text the number, and it would return an MMS with the picture generated.<\/p>\n

I used Mogreet<\/a>‘s API for sending MMS, and they actually featured me on their homepage<\/a><\/p>\n

I used Google Voice with GVMax<\/a> which is no longer supported.<\/p>\n

I used http:\/\/www.memegenerator.com<\/a> to generate the memes.<\/p>\n

I used the YOURLS API as a URL shortener to have the urls fit in a text message.<\/p>\n

I think the coolest part of this project was creating the iPhone interface for the Web Application. It functions and looks like a real iPhone (before iOS7). The texts popup as they are typed and responded to, and all the elements are the correct color and almost the right shape. <\/p>\n
